    Mombasa-Taita Hills Sanctuary

    Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

    Depart at 06:00 towards Taita, and arrive at the Lodge in time for Lunch. After lunch you will visit Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya located in Taita-Taveta County approximately 220 kilometers from Mombasa. The sanctuary covers an area of 28,000 acres (110 km2), and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park. It hosts Cape buffalo, African bush elephant, leopard, lion, cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson's gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a diversity of birdlife. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge and visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close, yet safe access to variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & salt licks .dinner and overnight at the salt lick lodge.

    Taita Hills Sanctuary –Tsavo East National Park

    You will have an early morning game drive at the sanctuary, and then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. You will then check out and exit the lodge with a game drive on route to Tsavo East National Park, which is famously referred to as the theatre of the wild. You will arrive at Satao Camp in time for lunch .After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive where you will have a chance to see animals such as Elephants, Buffalos, zebras ,antelopes, elands, Oryx’s, Hartebeests, waterbucks, impalas , Dik-diks, warthogs, grant gazelles, Silver backed jackals , side stripped jackals, white tailed mongoose and branded mongoose. Dinner and Overnight at Satao Camp.
