Begin at the Akamba Wood Carving Factory, where skilled artisans transform blocks of wood into intricate souvenirs by hand. Watching the carvers at work is the best way to appreciate their craft—you might think the detailed pieces were machine-made until you see them being carved right in front of you.
See the iconic Mombasa Elephant Tusks, a well-known city landmark, then explore the atmospheric lanes of Old Town and visit the Old Port, where Mombasa’s rich coastal heritage comes to life. Enjoy a panoramic view of Fort Jesus, the historic fortress overlooking the harbour.
Pause for lunch at Forodhani, then head to Haller Park for a memorable wildlife encounter, including the chance to feed giraffes.

Mombasa (Pass by)
The pick-up time is flexible, though we recommend around 07:00. From there, you'll head directly to the largest wood market in East and Central Africa, famously known as Akamba Village, which features over 3,500 wood carvers. You will have the opportunity to see handcrafted wood products and learn about different types of wood. Next, we will visit the Elephant Tusks, Hindu Temple, Old Port, and Old Town. Enjoy lunch at Forodhani Restaurant located in Old Town. Afterward, visit Haller Park to feed the giraffes and enjoy the park's attractions.
