Askerne Winery is owned and operated by the close knit Lachlan family. Remarkably they grow 17 different varietals on about 17 hectares. Their reserve chardonnay is one of my favorites and they are known for aromatic wines. I provide a complimentary cheese board before the 20 minute trip back to Napier
