Buenos Aires: Porteño Fillet Class in San Telmo.

Immerse yourself in the traditional art of Porteño filleting, one of the most emblematic expressions of Argentine visual culture. In this class you will discover the origins, techniques and secrets of this decorative style born in Buenos Aires at the beginning of the 20th century, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Guided by a professional filleting artist, you will learn the basics of this art: the fine stroke, symmetrical curves, ornate typefaces and vibrant colors that characterize filleting.
During the class you can design and paint your own thread on a sheet, which you will take as a souvenir. Each participant shall also take his/her certificate of participation.
Minimum 2 people.

Fillet class taught by Maestro filletador in Spanish.
