    Cape Town to Botlierskop - Overnight Mossel Bay

    Cape Town

    Pick up in Cape Town at 06:30am and get ready to journey through on the N2 to Botlierskop Private Game Reserve.

    Upon arrival at Botlierskop, enjoy lunch at Spekbos Restaurant. Choose from a wide option on the menu. At 12:45pm, get ready for a three hour safari across our 6,000-hectare reserve, home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife. Encounter more than 26 species, including Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Hippo, the rare Black Impala, Mountain Zebra, and an impressive array of over 200 bird species.

    Mossel Bay

    After the safari, we will travel back to through to Mossel Bay and check in at a 4 tar hotel. Rest of afternoon at leisure. Dinner in Mossel Bay as per guide's recommendation.

    Tsitsikamma and Plett Adventure - Overnight Knysna

    Storms River Suspension Bridge

    Enjoy a early breakfast at the hotel and get ready to check out after breakfast. We will embark our journey to Knysna. Our first stop will be in Tsitsikamma to go on one of the most popular tourist attractions, the suspension bridge. It hangs over the red-brown waters of the Storms River Mouth spans 77 metres and hangs just seven metres above the churning waters of the river as it enters the foamy Indian Ocean. Enjoy a 30-45 minute walk over this bridge.

    After this walk, indulge in lunch at the Cattle Baron restaurant. Shortly after lunch, our next stop will be a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary. You will be introduced to the elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Partake in the Walk trunk-in-hand with the elephants. See the Elephant Night Shelter where the elephants sleep and learn about elephant anatomy and be able to feed them. On some hot or rainy days, you may see the elephants swimming. After this experience, you will have the opportunity to decide between a visit to Birds of Eden or Monkeyland.

    Birds of Eden

    If you are a lover for birds, Birds of Eden is for you. it is a vast sanctuary where over 1,500 birds fly freely, living in an environment that mirrors their natural habitats.

    Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary

    Monkeyland on the other hand, is the world’s first free-roaming, multi-species primate sanctuary, offering "monkey safaris" to see 11 species of primate and over 550 primates. The sanctuary features a 128-meter suspension bridge for unique forest views. Time permitting, we can visit both sanctuaries.

    Once done, we will journey back to Knysna with a stop of the Knysna Heads before check in at a 4 star hotel. Dinner in Knysna as per guide's recommendation and overnight.

    Featherbed Eco Experience - Overnight Knysna

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and prepare for another scenic day. After breakfast, we will depart to the Featherbed Eco Experience. This includes a ferry cruise, 4×4 vehicle drive a 2,2 km guided nature walk. The views are breath-taking, and the knowledgeable nature guides will share their insights of the area, fauna and flora. Once done, you will be treated to a spectacular outdoor buffet food experience included in the tour.

    The Waterfront Knysna Quays

    After lunch, you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Explore the waterfront area. Guide and vehicle will be at your disposal. Return to the hotel to freshen up for dinner. Dinner at Sirocco Restaurant. Overnight

    Outeniqua Pass - Oudtshoorn - Cape Town

    Final day of fun and exploring. Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and prepare to embark to the Oudtshoorn region we drive on The Outeniqua Pass the drive offers panoramic views of the coastal plateau, George, and surrounding peaks.

    Cango Caves

    Our first stop will be at the Cango Caves for a heritage tour. An easy walk through the first six largest and most spectacular halls and continuing through to the "African Drum room". This tour commences with information on the real discoverers and inhabitants of the cave and then winds its way through the rest of the Caves’ cultural and historical heritage.

    Safari Ostrich Farm

    After the tour, we will proceed to Ostrich Farm. Here, you will go on a tractor safari where the guide will explain the natural breeding cycle of ostriches. Watch how ostriches breed in nature during the breeding season. Continue into the chick rearing compartment and see ostrich chicks in season. See South African, Kenyan, Zimbabwean and the rare White Ostriches. You will also see the second largest bird, the emus. In the interactive area, you will be able to see what ostrich eggs look like from carving and decoupaging. After the tour, we will proceed to have lunch at Nostalgie Restaurant before we journey back to Cape Town or optional drop off at George Airport.
