We’ll begin our day in Gordes, a spectacular hilltop village ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. I’ll guide you through its winding cobblestone streets, lined with traditional stone houses, and we’ll visit the historic Château de Gordes. The panoramic views over the valley and the Luberon mountains are truly unforgettable.
Our next stop will be Lourmarin, a sophisticated village full of charm and artistic flair. We’ll visit the Renaissance-style Château de Lourmarin, the first of its kind in Provence, and explore its beautifully restored interiors. After the tour, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch. Whether you choose a local bistro or a shaded café terrace, this is the perfect place to relax, soak up the atmosphere, and maybe browse through some art galleries or boutiques.
We’ll end the day in Roussillon, a village famous for its warm-colored facades and ochre quarries. I’ll guide you along the Sentier des Ocres (Ochre Trail), a unique walking path through striking natural formations in shades of yellow, orange, and red. I’ll share with you the story of this exceptional site, once a center of ochre mining in France.
