What's Included

The kitchen gardens and orchards provide healthy and organic food which will be collected and served fresh. Catered diets are standard, vegan, and vegetarian. Meat is served about twice a week.

You will likely arrive at our lower parking lot. Follow the stepping stones down to the training areas to find Reception. Ask to speak with Apple, our Student Care Manager, or continue to the Roofed Training area to speak with an Instructor. Please arrive 5 - 10 minutes early, so around 3:25 PM.

What to expect

The class begins with about a 30 minute chi kung warm-up and massage, in order to stimulate and open the meridians. This increases chi flow making one more sensitive/aware of the movement of chi and their thoughts, as well as preparing the body and mind for meditation. Then we do a series of alternating sitting and standing meditations/chi kung forms. Each week having a specific point of focus, for example activating the mirco-cosmic orbit, gathering and moving chi throughout the body, focusing and observing the mind through different types of meditations, etc.. All the while improving our awareness and mindfulness so that we may become more and more present within every moment.

-Walking meditation
-Zhan zhuang
-Golden ball
-Mirco-cosmic chi ball (chi buzzsaw)
-Great heavenly circulation

The lesson will finish at 6:00 PM, when dinner is served.
