What to expect
Snowshoeing tour in Luosto. This unique snowshoeing tour takes you to Rykimäkuru gorge where we will explore the Taiga forests and the snowy gorge with the snowshoes. We will go off the beaten path and on this tour you get to access the untouched snow to experience the beautiful arctic wilderness. The tour includes complimentary hot beverages and a light outdoor meal by campfire!
On this tour we will access the snowy wilderness with snowshoes and explore the Rykimäkuru area in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. We will snowshoe in variable terrain around the Luosto Area. During the tour we will use modern lightweight TSL snowshoes which have adjustable bindings that fit to most winter or hiking boots. The tour takes 3 hours and includes a tasty outdoor meal made from local ingredients accompanied with hot beverages to keep you warm and energized during the tour.
Earlier experience with snowshoes is not needed as your guide will teach you how to use the snowshoes.
