What to expect

Costa Rica is home to more than 924 species of birds, and about 400 are found on the Osa Peninsula, including some endemic to the region. Join our guided birdwatching tour in Drake Bay and discover the species that inhabit the different strata of the tropical forest.

The best times for this activity are at dawn (5 : 30 a.m.) or sunset (3 : 30 p.m.), when the birds are most active. During this 3-hour tour, you will learn to recognize behaviors, songs and adaptations, observing wildlife in its natural environment. Our certified naturalist guide will share identification techniques, use of optical equipment and relevant ecological data.
