    KILIMANJARO – Marangu Route

    Mount Kilimanjaro

    Day 1, drive from hotel, Moshi or Arusha, to the starting point.1920m (6400ft), ascending throw the beautiful natural rain Forest. 9.5km about 4hrs gradually ascent, same Flora and Fauna found, eg, monkey black and white colobus monkey, Many Birds. Blue monks. Sleep at Mandara hut, 2728m (9090ft) a.s.l. Have your dinner here and overnight.

    KILIMANJARO – heather moreland

    after heavy breakfast, you fall your guide advice, walk 11km/5hrs slowly (pole pole) throughout the Heather Moreland, the Land scape is covered with Savanna Grace land. View Mawenzi Mountain on South East, also On Northern side you will view Kibo. Arrived at Horombo hut 3738m. (12460ft) and overnight.

    Day 3,acclimatized day about 2hrs going and back, at Zebra Rock’s, and Mawenzi Ridge 4400m(14660ft)after go back to the Horombo hut for hot lunch, afterwards you go to your bed for nap, weighting dinner.

    Day 4, after breakfast, start walking to the lower route, about 9.6km/5hrs ascent to Kibo hut, 4720m (15730ft). This is half sleep, summit day. About 5.8km/6hrs ascending, it had day, first summit Gilmans point 5659m(18860ft)a.s.l.,1hr crossing gradually via Stella point 5756m(19180ft),keep going to the last highest top Uhuru Peak 5896m,(19650ft)a.s.l. Just few minutes to take some photos with spectacular view of Mount Meru, amazing sunrise. Descending down, at Kibo hut for branch with short sleep.

    after breakfast descending Dow via the same route from Horombo to Mandara hut 11km, short breaking for lunch, then continued to the bottom, Marangu gate. Grabs your certification it you managed to conquer any of 3 Summits. After sign out we drive back to hotel, for hot shower.
