Best known for its Mediterranean vibes and Serbian history, Szentendre also offers Baroque architecture, memories from the Roman period, Hungarian folklore stores, and lots of art, both old and modern. Enjoy a break from big-city life, you can spend an adventure-filled half a day here!     An enchanting Serbian church, the most beautiful merchant houses, and the Christmas Museum and Shop are located here. In the nearby in-season (from March to December) you can taste the best lángos of Hungary, or have lunch or coffee in the cozy restaurants. Best photo point in the city. In the center, you can admire a 300-year-old Baroque Cross and Calvary.,

    Szentendrei Keresztelo Szent Janos Parish Church

    An amazing church, originally built in the 13th century, decorated with beautiful baroque style inside, and modern frescoes with pictures of old Szentendre in the background, on the corner of the church you can see a sundial from the 13th century.

    Szamos Marzipan Exhibition and Workshop

    A workshop, shop, and museum, You can see how marzipan is formed to statues, flowers, etc. In the museum, you see sceneries, statues, and figures all made from marzipan. You can taste and buy in the shop. Next to the shop, there is a confectionery, where you can taste also marzipan cake, or any famous cakes of Hungary, like Dobos and Esterhazy.
