We'll also visit the Thich Quang Duc memorial, where you'll learn about the monk who self-immolated in protest against the persecution of Buddhists in Vietnam. To refresh yourself, enjoy a cold sugar cane drink! Our adventure continues to Nguyen Thien Thuat, the oldest apartment complex in Saigon, where you can climb up to see the fascinating contrast between modern and traditional architecture. We'll even explore a pagoda built inside one of the old apartments!

Pick-up is only available for districts 1, 3, 5 (free pickup location). Please be at the meet-up point if your hotel is outside the pick-up/drop-off area. We will visit the biggest flower market in Dist. 10 and sample the best "Saigon Pizza". Then we walk into the colorful street food market and sample the most favorite snack of locals. Next stop, we visit Thich Quang Duc memorial and learn the story about a monk who set himself on fire to protest the persecution of Buddhists in Vietnam. Get refreshed with cold sugar cane drink! Then we drive to Nguyen Thien Thuat - the oldest apartment in Saigon. Climb up to the buildings and see the contrasting architecture between the modern and the traditional. We also visit a pagoda which was built inside an old apartment.
