Nara Park, located in Nara City, Japan, is renowned for its serene natural beauty and friendly Sika deer that roam freely throughout the park. These deer are considered sacred messengers of the Shinto gods and are protected as national treasures. Visitors can interact with the deer, feeding them specially-made deer crackers (shika senbei), which are available for purchase within the park.
