    Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

    Aberdare National Park

    Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive north through the scenic central highlands toward Aberdare National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon relaxing while watching wildlife that frequently visits nearby waterholes. In the evening, enjoy a guided nature walk or simply observe animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and forest antelopes that come to drink. Dinner and overnight stay inside the park, often at unique tree lodges overlooking the forest.

    Aberdare National Park to solio Ranch

    After breakfast, depart the Aberdare region and drive toward Solio Ranch, one of Kenya’s most successful private rhino conservancies. Enjoy a mid-morning or afternoon game drive in this sanctuary famous for both black and white rhinos. The open plains also offer excellent chances to spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Spend the rest of the day exploring the conservancy before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in the Laikipia region.
