Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and vast elephant herds. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive through this quiet gem of a park, with chances to spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and large groups of elephants near the Tarangire River. After a thrilling day in the wild, you'll settle into a nearby lodge or camp for dinner and rest.
After breakfast, you’ll journey through the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands on your way to the legendary Serengeti. The drive itself is a wildlife experience, with stops for scenic views and cultural encounters. Upon arrival in the Central Serengeti, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly the Great Migration. You'll spend the night in a tented camp under the stars.
Begin your day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, when predators are most active. After breakfast, enjoy a final game viewing session as you exit the park and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you may visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience. You’ll arrive at your lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in time to relax and enjoy breathtaking views before dinner.
Today is the grand finale of your safari. You’ll descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to black rhinos, lions, buffalo, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you’ll ascend and return to Arusha in the late afternoon, full of unforgettable memories.
