    Le Château de Lophem in french is another place to see when traveling from Paris to Bruges. It is situated about 500 meters from the E403 expressway and 9 km (5.5 miles) south of Bruges. This Néogothique red brick castle of the 19th century is set in a 100-hectare estate and is surrounded by a park with ponds, caves and a labyrinth. It also houses art collections. It is currently the only Belgian castle of this style whose architecture and interior have been preserved in their original state.

    Le Château de Tilleghem in french is one more place to see when driving from Paris to Bruges. It is situated about 300 meters from the E403 expressway and 7 km (4.3 miles) south of Bruges. Another Néogothique red brick castle of the 13th century that is surrounded by a moat.
