Itinerary

Duration: 2 hours (approximately)
  • Carara National Park (Pass by)

You will be guided by a local charismatic guide. As we proceed down the main trail, where we will observe as the ecosystems of both a dry forest and a rainforest converge. As we progress through the trails, the tour guide will point out the various animal species that are hiding in the trees, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, monkeys, sloths, and other mammals native to Costa Rica. For animals that may be harder to see, you can observe them through the binoculars and telescope that I bring along. For each animal that we encounter, the tour guide will describe their habitat, as well as their behavioral characteristics. After two hours of exploring the trails, we will walk back to the park’s entrance to end the tour.
