    MOTHER OF GOD - CITY TOUR

    Puerto Maldonado

    City tour: Visit the main square of Puerto Maldonado, Cathedral, central market (we will appreciate exotic fruits of the place), we can taste ice cream prepared with the fruits of the area, Municipality, Boulevard, Billinghurst Bridge which is the exit door to the border With Brazil, Mirador del Madre de Dios River, tour of the main market, where we will appreciate products from the region. Return to accommodation, rest. We will have a free afternoon to enjoy the sites, shop, meet. In the afternoon we return to the hotel. We will have dinner and then rest and enjoy the next day.

    FRONTERA PERU - BRAZIL / CITY OF EPITHACOLAND

    We will get up early to have a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the border between Peru and Brazil, we will cross the Madre de Dios River to pass through the control of migrations in the Peruvian border called Iñapari and arrive at the control of migration of Brazil called Assis. The Madre de Dios River belongs to the Amazon basin. It is a tributary of the Beni River. It has an approximate length of 1 150 km and is a binational river, since it runs through the southeast part of Peru (655 km1 through the Madre de Dios region) and northwestern Bolivia. Drain a basin of more than 100,000 km². Among the many activities, which take place on its banks, include mango plantations and gold mining, in addition to selective logging of fine wood and agriculture, which cause serious environmental problems. Along the river there are several national parks and reserves, in particular the Peruvian national parks of Manú (also declared as Manu Biosphere Reserve) and Bahuaja-Sonene, the also Peruvian Tambopata-Candamo Nature Reserve and the Bolivian Manupiri- National Reserve Heath After this tour we will have lunch in the City of Epitacolandia that belongs to Brazil. Epitaciolândia is a municipality in Brazil, located in the southeast of Acre. Its population is 14,193 inhabitants, its extension of 1,659 km² and its population density of 8.56 inhabitants / km². It limits to the north with the municipality of Xapuri, to the east with Bolivia and to the west with the municipality of Brasileira. It emerged 13 years ago from the division of the municipality of Brasileira. Its urban area is separated from that of the municipality of Brasileira by the Acre river. It is also linked to the city of Cobija, in the Bolivian state of Pando. We will follow the route of our walk to the Branco River. We will arrive at the chosen hotel located in the City of Rio Branco which is the capital of the state of Acre. Rio Branco is the capital of the State of Acre, in the northern region of Brazil. It limits to the north with the municipalities of Bujari, Porto Acre and with the State of Amazonas, to the south with the municipalities of Xapuri and Capixaba, to the east with the municipality of Senador Guiomard and to the west with the municipality of Sena Madureira

    RIO BRANCO / MATERNITY PARK

    We will have our breakfast at the hotel facilities We would leave for Maternity Park which is a beautiful place full of diverse vegetation. The Maternity Park is a symbol in Rio Branco, like other parks in this state, it is identified by a sculpture in the style of Fernando Botero (Colombia), I don't know if it is original. Lots of green, clean area, with pedestrian bridges that cross a canal to pass from one side to another to enjoy nature. We would continue to the Rubber Museum which is an important input of the past centuries. We will have our lunch in the center of this beautiful city. We move towards the Velho market, which is an artisanal market, passing through the Pedestrian Bridge which is one of the main tractions of Brazilian architecture. We leave for the Municipal Palace and the Public Library and learn more about this beautiful place. At the end of this tour we return to our hotel. Dinner included

    BRAZIL - BOLIVIA

    We wake up early to enjoy a rich breakfast at the hotel premises. We begin our tour by visiting the Rio Brancoque Palace is an icon of this City. We will continue our walk to the Brazilian-Bolivian border where we will go through migrations to enter the Bolivian territory called Cobija which is Bolivia's free zone, here we can make purchases in the galleries and markets which are tax free because it is a border area. We will return to the city of Puerto de Maldonado through the different immigration controls and we will arrive at our chosen hotel to rest and have a delicious dinner. The border between Brazil and Bolivia is a continuous international boundary that delimits the territories of both neighboring countries. The border line crosses a wide variety of terrain, from large urban areas to inhospitable meadows and forests. It begins in the Pantanal and ends in the Amazon jungle. Its total length is 3,423 kilometers.

    RIO MADRE DE DIOS / PUERTO DE MALDONADO

    Tambopata National Reserve

    After having our breakfast at the hotel facilities we will continue our tour to the Captaincy of the Port of Maldonado, there are some boats waiting for us to take a tour of the Madre de Dios River. We will arrive at a camp that awaits us with an adventure and fun tour such as a zip line, canopy among others. There we will enter the TAMBOPATA National Reserve on a 4-kilometer walk in the middle of the jungle, along the way we will see beautiful flowering plants, up in the macaw trees, hundreds of butterflies, and many species of monkeys, such as: pigeon monkey , Black Martin, howler, friars, among others. We will have our lunch inside the camp facilities. Then we will make a tour observing the beautiful nature that this place offers us with the diversity of the Peruvian jungle. At the end we return by boat to the Port of Maldonado. We will arrive at our hotel.
