Day 1: Marrakech To Merzouga desert via the Hight Atlas Mountains (Tizi -n-Tichka) - Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou :

2Ouarzazate
panoramic views of the Berber small villages that camouflage in the landscape. Then we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator , Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz

3Merzouga Desert
An Adventure Crossing The Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. You will have time also for sandboarding in the highest sand dune, then you will take the camels to the camp where you will have a tasty dinner next of your tent where you spend the night,watch the Stars and play some berber music and drums near the campfire.

4Merzouga Desert
We will wake up you early morning to watch the sunrise in dunes, then you will have to take a shower and a delicious breakfast before you leave back to Marrakech trough different areas and different Berber villages going through the arid pre-desertic area where we´ll meet the “acacia”, typical tree of this landscapes. On the way to the Draa valley we´ll make some stops to enjoy the beautiful views of the river that gives name to the valley. Its the longest river in Morocco, going through the hole country reaching Mauritania.

5Nkob
After lunch in Nkob our trip continues towards Ouarzazate going through the Anti Atlas . We´ll have some free time for lunch in town and in the afternoon we start off our road again to Marrakech reaching about 8pm. Transfer to the hotel and end of our services of 2 days sahara desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
