We work directly with the team of guides who are in charge of caring for the Licancabur Volcano. This is a community-based venture that is responsible for providing certified guides who have long known volcano routes.

We also have transport from San Pedro to Bolivia and vice versa.

We include all meals and also a place to sleep in the Licancabur Volcano mountain retreat. This makes us different from companies that do not have high mountain registration.

The guide will pass all passengers to their accommodations, it is important to bring water, suitable shoes for ascent and suitable clothing.

    Arrival at the mountain refuge and acclimatization hike at 4,300 meters

    The first day we met you at your accommodation between 6:00 and 6:30 am, to go to the border of Hito Cajon we passed Chilean and Bolivian border. It is necessary to carry Chilean rut and if you are a foreigner passport and PDI. We have breakfast and leave our things in a comfortable shelter. We prepare to take an acclimatization hike through Laguna Verde y Blanca at 4,300 meters of approximately three hours, a beautiful hike, with a lot of wind so it is recommended to wear warm clothes. Later we returned to the shelter for lunch, rest and dinner.

    The next day at 1:30 am we had breakfast and put our things in the vehicle. A 4x4 vehicle will take us to the foothills of the Licancabur Volcano. From 3:00 am we will start walking, the temperatures will be very low so we ask that you go very warm. The summit will be held at approximately 10:00 am. Possibly the most stunning view of San Pedro de Atacama, an incredible crater and dreamy views along the way. After thanking for the summit we will return to the vehicle in approximately 4 hours and return to the shelter for lunch and rest until the next day the vehicle returned to San Pedro in the morning, at approximately 11:30 am we will be in San Pedro, Chile. There is the option to do the tour in 2 days if you prefer, in that case after summiting you return directly to San Pedro in a private transfer.
