Pienza is a small town that was rebuilt in the 15th century as a Renaissance town. You will have time to stroll around walking through the streets, several important sites can be spotted, and each of them carries a portion of the town’s history. It is also for the wine production, food, and culture. In particular, Pienza is famous for its pecorino cheese, that is matured in several different ways in order to enhance its flavor.
