Your day begins at 8:30 AM as you meet your professional guide and driver in your hotel lobby. The journey starts with a visit to Qianlingshan Park, a lively place where you can witness authentic local life. In the fresh morning air, residents gather to sing, dance, practice Tai Chi, or simply relax with friends over a game of cards. As you stroll through the park, you may also encounter wild monkeys roaming freely in the hills, adding a unique and memorable touch to your experience.

2Qingyan Ancient Town
Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive of about one hour to Qingyan Ancient Town, a historic gem with over 600 years of history. The town is well-known for its beautifully preserved stone architecture, charming streets, and a fascinating mix of shops, eateries, temples, and churches. Upon arrival, take a break and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample regional specialties such as braised pig’s trotters, spicy chicken, and Qingyan-style tofu, along with other delicious dishes. In the afternoon, continue exploring the ancient town at a relaxed pace. You will visit a variety of cultural and historical sites, including Taoist temples, Buddhist temples, Christian churches, and the former residence of a top imperial scholar from the 1880s. If you feel like it, you can also walk along the ancient city wall, which stretches for about 3 kilometers and offers great views of the surroundings.

Later, return to downtown Guiyang and visit the bustling Flowers and Birds Market, the largest of its kind in the city. Here, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere as locals browse and trade a wide range of items, from pets and plants to handicrafts and daily goods. At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to your hotel, concluding a day full of cultural discovery and local experiences.
