This tour allows you to enjoy both World Heritage Himeji Castle and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Fondly called the "White Heron Castle", Himeji Castle takes pride in its rich history of 400 years. Experience the beauty of Japanese architecture and the ingenuity from the age of samurai. For lunch, savor a buffet prepared with local ingredients. Afterwards, visit Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, one of the world's longest suspension bridges. From the Maiko Marine Promenade, take in the stunning scale of the bridge from up close, and behold the impressive sight of cars and boats passing by. Meeting and pickup
Please meet at Sunrise Tours Desk in Kyoto Avanti B1 Floor by 8:30 am, across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit. An assistant will guide you until boarding the Shinkansen.
Tour ends around 6:00 pm upon arrival at Kyoto Station. Please head to your next destination on your own from Kyoto Station.

Travel by bullet train "Shinkansen" using non-reserved seat from Kyoto Station to Himeji Station. Travel time is 45 minutes. Meet with your guide and other customers from Osaka departure either on board the Shinkansen or on the platform at Himeji Station, then walk to Himeji Castle.

Also known as Shirasagi Castle [White Heron Castle], Himeji Castle is famous for its beautiful white exterior which was recently renovated. Enjoy a stroll around the grounds as you learn about the castle and its history from a knowledgeable guide.

The tour will visit an observation facility on Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, one of the world's longest suspension bridges. Take this special opportunity to feel the bridge's grand scale and technological marvel right on your skin. See the Akashi Strait through the glass floor.

Travel by local train using non-reserved seat from Maiko station to Kyoto station. Travel time is 90 minutes. Guide service ends at Osaka Station partway. Instructions on how to return to Kyoto Station will be provided.

- This tour uses non-reserved seats on public transportation. Please note that seating is not guaranteed.

- The lunch meal is served buffet style. All meal requests including vegetarian meals and allergy-friendly meals are not accepted.
- At Himeji Castle, there are no facilities such as elevators due to the structure, and there are a series of slopes, stairs, and steps. Please note that wheelchairs or strollers cannot be used to tour around inside buildings.
- Sightseeing will be conducted on foot. Total walking distance on this tour is about 4.0 km [2.5 miles], so please wear shoes and clothing which are easy to walk in.
- There will be an accompanying guide from arrival at Himeji Station until Osaka Station partway. An assistant will help you board the Shinkansen at Kyoto Station.
- Tour's total duration is 9 hours 30 minutes, although the total duration listed in the itinerary is 6 hours 15 minutes. The remaining hours are allotted for travel time.
