What to expect
Local chef will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An area. We will take you local market to tell you about the main ingredients in Vietnamese cuisine and choose the fresh ingredients for the cooking class. This is also one of the highlights of the tour where you can gain an insight into Vietnamese herbs and spices. After the market trip, the car will take you back to Cam Thanh Coconut village. Then transferring to a unique bamboo basket boat to explore the beauty of Bay Mau coconut forest also called the Mekong Delta in the heart of Hoi an and experience some local activities: Fishing Crabs, Watching basket boat performance.
Especially, while we show you how to pound and separate rice, grind rice to make rice milk, and make rice paper, you will have the chance to experience traditional Vietnamese cultural tools like a stone mortar and grinder, wooden pestle.
After that, starting with the chef to learn to cook 4 Vietnamese dishes and enjoy lunch or dinner.
