Katskhi Pillar Katskhi Pillar is one of the most remarkable and impressive natural monuments in Georgia. It is located in the Chiatura municipality, near the village of Katskhi. This unique limestone monolith is about 40 meters high and for many years it was inaccessible and surrounded by mystery. At the top of the pillar, there is a small church and monastic buildings. According to historical sources, monastic life existed here even in the early centuries. Today, Katskhi Pillar symbolically represents spiritual elevation, peace, and closeness to God. Even from a distance, it leaves a strong impression on visitors and reflects both the power of nature and sacredness at the same time.
