Arizona´s tallest mountain, an ancient and often snow-covered volcano, towers over Flagstaff and will be visible as we pass the city.
This is our first stop with a first view of Grand Canyon as well as the historic train station from 1901 and the El Tovar Lodge from 1905. We will have a full-menu, sit-down lunch at the El Tovar Dining room (included in the tour price).
You are free to do an optional half-mile walk along the paved rim trail to get to know Grand Canyon up close and personal. The trail is not close to the edge but offers stunning views.
We stop at several of the most spectacular overlooks to show you the amazingly different vistas of Grand Canyon.
This is an optional last stop at a historic trading post on the Navajo Nation where you can immerse yourself in Native American arts, crafts and souvenirs.
