Learn how to make authentic Zanzibar food. We meet in Darajani market to choose your ingredients, before heading out to a spice farm on a private car from there, you will have an hours spice tour and then join me to cook some delicious lunch from a traditional Zanzibar home with spice tour offer.

What to expect

Kick off your day by diving into the heart of Zanzibar’s local food scene. We’ll start at a nearby market, where you’ll wander through the stalls to pick out the freshest seasonal produce and aromatic spices needed for your meal. It’s a great way to see how locals shop and get a feel for the island's vibrant energy. Once we’ve gathered the ingredients, we’ll head back to the kitchen to roll up sleeves and get to work. You’ll learn the authentic, hands-on techniques of Swahili cooking from balancing exotic flavors to preparing traditional sides before we finally sit down together to enjoy the delicious, home-cooked feast you’ve created.
