Isla Incahuasi
Visit the Incahuasi Island Your trip continues entering the Salar for Colchani, where you can make a small purchase at the local fair of all kinds of crafts made of salt for sale. Continue to the popular salt mounds, where you will have plenty of time to take unique and spectacular photos. You will have a box lunch with local food in the middle of the salinas and you will be able to taste an excellent selection of high altitude wines. Your adventure continues, visiting the Incahuasi Island, located in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni, where you can appreciate the giant cacti and petrified corals and after a short walk, upon arrival at the top of this island you can have a view of all the Sal desert with a 360 ° view.

This day begins early, and we will pick you up directly from your camper to continue the experience. Your guide will prepare a buffet breakfast in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flats, where you will enjoy fresh local products surrounded by an endless white horizon — a peaceful and unforgettable start to the day. After breakfast, you will continue in your private 4x4 towards the Tunupa Volcano. On the way, you will visit the village of Chantani and its Stone Museum, before reaching the volcano’s viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views over the Salar.

Tunupa Volcano
After a short pause, you will begin a leisurely 2-hour hike accompanied by your professional guide and personal assistant, ascending towards the crater area of the Tunupa Volcano. This experience is designed at a comfortable pace, allowing you to fully enjoy the surroundings while gradually gaining altitude. As you ascend, the views become increasingly spectacular, revealing the immense white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni contrasted with the dramatic colors of the Altiplano. Your guide will accompany you at all times, sharing insights and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Upon reaching the highest accessible point near the crater, you will have time to pause, take photographs, and fully appreciate the silence and scale of this extraordinary landscape. You will then descend back to the viewpoint, where your private vehicle will be waiting with hot drinks and light snacks.
