This night snorkel gives you a completely different experience than being in the ocean during the day. We guide you along the reef at Turtle Town as it transitions into nighttime, including a visit to one of our favorite hidden spots where turtles often settle in for the evening. With small groups, in-water guides, and custom lighting to illuminate the reef, it’s an intimate and unforgettable way to experience Maui after dark.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Type "Makena Landing Park" into your GPS. From here you will see a small parking lot with outdoors showers and restrooms. Drive up the small hill past the restrooms. You will see a white van parked 100-200 yards past the restrooms. Meet your guides here! Please note we meet based on sunset!
What to expect
Sea turtles are the highlight as we traverse the reef at Turtle Town to one of our favorite hidden gems we call the "turtle cave". Turtles often surface to breathe, creating amazing close encounters. You may also spot octopus, eels, crabs, and other unique night time marine life.
This tour is safe, relaxed, and great for all experience levels. Our guides stay in the water with you the entire time so you always feel comfortable and supported.
We provide snorkel gear, dive lights, a flotation board with mounted lights to illuminate the ocean floor, and wetsuit tops if you’d like extra warmth.
Meet time is about 50 minutes before sunset and varies throughout the year. We text you the exact time the day before or morning of your tour.
