Meeting and pickup
We will pick you up in hotels located in the San Jose and nearby -Alajuela & Heredia cities, as well as in Fortuna Dowtown on the way back at 7 pm. The pick up time will depend on the hotel location, we will kindly ask to specify in your request the place where you will be staying.

Hotel Pickup in San José → Sarchí → La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area)

Your trip begins with pickup from your hotel in San José, followed by a beautiful countryside drive toward the famous artisan town of Sarchí, known as the birthplace of Costa Rican craftsmanship.
Sarchí Stop
Along the way, enjoy a guided stop in Sarchí to admire skilled local artisans hand-crafting traditional wooden pieces and vibrant souvenirs. You'll also visit the world’s largest hand-painted ox cart, a spectacular cedar masterpiece recognized by the Guinness World Records—an iconic symbol of Costa Rican culture and heritage.
Scenic Drive to La Fortuna
As we continue toward La Fortuna, take in breathtaking views of rolling coffee plantations, sugar-cane fields, cattle ranches, and lush tropical forest landscapes. Upon arrival, you’ll be immersed in one of the country’s most picturesque regions, home to natural hot springs, rainforest adventures, and stunning views of the Arenal Volcano.
At the end of the route, we will drop you off either at your hotel located near La Fortuna’s main road or at La Fortuna Central Park, depending on your preference.
