On the first day of your 4-day Tanzania group sharing safari. After a hearty breakfast in your budget hotel, you will commence your journey from Arusha, venturing towards Tarangire’s wildlife haven. Witness herds of elephants as the park’s signature baobabs paint the skyline. After having your lunch, you will also engage in an afternoon game drive to experience more of the wilderness of Tarangire National Park and also to enjoy seeing the large herds of elephants that are popular at this national park. There are also over 500 bird species in this national park. In the late evening, you will drive back to Mto wa mbu after this game drive to have dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Second day of your 4 days Tanzania budget group sharing safari: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park
On the second day of your 4-day Tanzania group sharing safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We leave the highlands behind and descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Then we go to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife that is well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Nyani Campsite.

On the last day of your 4-day Tanzania group sharing safari. After an early hearty breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife with your packed lunch. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater.
