Annapurna Base Camp Trek route visits Poon Hill, giving unparalleled mountain vistas and some perfect photo opportunities. There are certainly some challenging days to reach the altitude of 4130 meters, including rocky trails and an ascent of 3000 stone steps to Ulleri, but your efforts will be rewarded by the majestic mountains, all the way to ABC over an array of different and exciting landscapes. To finish off the trip nicely, on the way back down to Pokhara, we stop at Jhinu where you can replenish your tired muscles in the natural hot baths. An amazing journey into an infamous region of Nepal, what more could you ask for?
We will arrange pickup from hotel in Pokhara (Lakeside area).
An hour drive to Nayapul then trek to Ulleri. This is where you are trekking 3300 stairs. Enjoy the sceneries along the way.
5 hours trek to Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is popular town with old classic houses. Beautiful himalayan peaks can be seen from here.
Early morning Poon Hill and further trek to Poon Hill. Poon Hill offers spectacular Himalayan views, we go there early in the morning to get glimpse of sunrise over peaks of many mountains, splendid view.
6 hours trek to Sinuwa via chhomrong. Chhomrong is a big village town with good views around. Then onward to Sinuwa, with some descend and ascend.
5 hours trek to Deurali through the valley, mostly up hill.
4 hours trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Enjoy the beautiful destination, hard work certainly pays off.
About 6.5 hours trek to Bamboo. Mostly descent but there will be ups and downs as usual.
5.5 hours trek to Jhinu. Jhinu hotpsring offers natural hot water bathing, enjoy after the long trek!
After the trek, further drive to Pokhara.
