Begin your day with a scenic road trip from Saariselkä or Inari to Kirkenes, a charming coastal border town known for its Arctic wilderness

Upon arrival, you'll be suited up in warm gear before heading out to sea—traveling by snowmobile-pulled sledge (operates from December 1 to April 30) or RIB boat (operates from May 1 to November 30), depending on the season and weather conditions. Glide across the icy (or open) waters to reach the King Crab fishing site, where you’ll learn the traditional method of catching these giant creatures using net cages.

After your successful catch, make your way to rustic seaside restaurant for a hearty lunch featuring your own catch. A local expert will guide you on how to cut open the crab legs and enjoy this Arctic delicacy the traditional way.

Explore the enchanting Snowhotel, a one of a kind structure made entirely of snow and ice. Be amazed by the intricate ice sculptures and artistic craftsmanship.
