Begin your journey in Casablanca, with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque (optional). Travel north to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to see key landmarks such as the Hassan Tower and Kasbah of the Udayas.
After exploring Rabat, we continue inland to Fes, where you’ll check into your riad or hotel for the night. Depart Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane (often called the “Switzerland of Morocco”) and cedar forests home to Barbary monkeys.
Continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, where you’ll ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Spend the night in a traditional Sahara desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.

After breakfast in the Dades Valley, begin your journey along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through traditional Berber villages, lush palm groves, and dramatic desert landscapes. En route, arrive in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Gateway to the Sahara and Morocco’s film capital. Here, you may visit the famous Atlas Film Studios or explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah (optional).
Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic and well-preserved ksars. Enjoy a guided or independent walk through its ancient earthen architecture, which has served as a backdrop for numerous international films and series.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech, where your tour concludes.
