In addition to a lovely walk through the charming alleys of Spoleto and its historical landmarks, you’ll dive straight into "local life". We’ll start with a must of Italian social culture: "the aperitif."
Then, we’ll stop by a local food shop to purchase a few fresh ingredients needed for our lunch.
Next, we’ll head to my home, just a few minutes from the city center, where we’ll begin our cooking class. We’ll start with tomato bruschetta, followed by a tasting of burrata topped with freshly grated Norcia black truffle.
After these appetizers, it’s time to "get your hands in the dough" — flour and eggs to make Strengozzi, a traditional egg pasta from Spoleto.
Meanwhile, we’ll grate plenty of black truffle to prepare the sauce for our pasta.
To finish, we’ll bake a delicious almond flour dessert with a cherry center.
And of course, local wine and water will always be on the table.
