Our tour is historical, we ride along the old Stormsriver elephant pass, stopping off at various points where our guides will share with you the history of how the pass was built and how it all came to be, stopping over where the prisoners of war over 200 years ago camped and build by hand the road following the elephants trails.

Meeting and pickup
Take the entrance to Stormsriver Village off the N2. Drive 500m to the T junction, turn left to the supermarket which is 50m down on your left-hand side. We are right next door where you will see Papa Afrika Restaurant and the Mild2Wild Adventures Trailer booth!
What to expect

Whilst on the back our fully trained people loving horses our guides will point out our numerous bird and animal wildlife as you Trod over thousand year old green mosses and cross rivulets and stone built culverts .fill you water bottle and taste the magical natural mineral water at our waterfall pools .take in the surrounding beauty as you find yourself on the old stormriver pass that takes us back to the days when only horses travelled the road and man was following elephants to find his way home . .The tour is not only a horse experience but has historical value and is for all riders experienced or novice .
