Departure from Dushanbe Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Dushanbe to Iskandarkul, passing through mountains and valleys that offer stunning views of the Tajik landscape. Arrival at Iskandarkul Lake Upon arrival, take a leisurely hike to a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding peaks. Walk to the Waterfall After the viewpoint, stroll down to the nearby waterfall, locally known as the “Niagara of the Fann Mountains.” Take in the refreshing mist and enjoy the powerful sight of water cascading down the cliffs. Drive to Saratog Village In the late afternoon, drive to Saratog village and check into a local guesthouse. Experience the warmth of Tajik hospitality and enjoy a homemade dinner with a local family. 2Fann Mountains
Hike in Saratog Valley After breakfast, embark on a 4-5 hour hike in Saratog Valley. The trail takes you through beautiful valleys with views of snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and streams—a great opportunity to see the unique flora and fauna of the Fann Mountains. Return Drive to Dushanbe After the hike, enjoy a relaxed drive back to Dushanbe, reflecting on the peaceful beauty of Iskandarkul and the Fann Mountains.
