    Day 1

    Kathmandu (1310m) - Kerung Border(2800m) 185Km.

    We will wake up early in the morning and drive to Kerung Border. The route will go through picturesque countryside, and after all the border formalities, we will continue our uphill drive towards Kerung.

    Kerung Town(2800m) - Tengri(4,300m)/ Lhatse(4,350m) 370 Km 05 -06 Hours Drive.

    We will continue our journey towards the highest plateau of the world. The route will present us beautiful views of Tibetan landscape and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon reaching Tengri, we will get to see spectacular views of the Mt. Everest (8,848 m).

    Tengri(4,300m)/ Lhatse(4,350m) – Shigatse(3,900m) 235Km/ 265Km 05 -06 Hours Drive.

    After having the breakfast, we will continue our drive to Shigatse. We will cross Gyatchu La (5,220M), the highest pass of our trip. The drive will be scenic, and we will get to see a beautiful Tibetan landscape. Upon reaching Shigatse, we will move to our hotel where we will stay for a night.

    Shigatse(3,900m) – Gyantse (3,950m) 90Km 04 -05 Hours Drive.

    After having breakfast, we will go on a small sightseeing tour. We will visit Panchen Lama’s Tashlhumpu Monastery and explore the place. Later, we will drive to Gyantse valley going through beautiful Tibetan villages. Upon reaching here, we will visit Gyantse Kumbum, which is a large gold-domed stupa. Further, we will visit Gyantse Dzong, built in the 14th century. We stay overnight in the hotel.

    Gyantse(3,950m) - Lhasa(3,650m) 261 Km 05 -06 Hours Drive.

    Today, we will drive to Lhasa. We will cross two passes, Karo La Pass (5010m) and Kamba La Pass (4794m). We will also get to see gorgeous Yamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake) and the Brahmaputra River along with breathtaking sceneries on our way to Lhasa. After reaching Kamba La Pass, we will descend towards the main road and reach Lhasa.

    Sightseeing in Lhasa (3,600m)

    We will go on the guided sightseeing tour after having breakfast. The first landmark that we will visit is Potala Palace, which is the winter palace of Dalai Lama. From here, we will see the entire view of Lhasa town. Next, we will visit Norbulingka Palace, the summer palace of Dalai Lama situated at a short distance to the southwest of Potala Palace. Later, we will visit the Tibet Museum situated directly below the Potala Palace where we will get to know the history of Tibet.

    Sightseeing in Lhasa (3,600m)

    Today is our second day of sightseeing in Lhasa. We will visit Drepung Monastery, built in the 14th century. It is also the world's largest monastery sheltered by 10,000 monks in the past. After that, we will visit beautiful Sera monastery with whitewashed walls and golden roofs. We will visit this monastery to see monks debating. Later, we will visit Jokhang Temple, another important site that unravels many mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism. In the evening, we will explore Barkhor Bazaar filled with open stalls, shops, and crowds of pilgrims.

    Lhasa to Kathmandu or Main Land China.

    After having breakfast, we will check-out of the hotel and drive towards our next destination either to Kathmandu or Mainland China. The drive will again be scenic.
