Sapa is a mountainous town surrounded by many hill tribe villages, beautiful terraced rice fields, and the highest peak in Indochina. Located on the side of the massive Hoang Lien Son Mountain range (Northwest Vietnam), Sapa has cool weather all year round, with some points of low temperature.
To discover the best of town and its surroundings, take a Sapa trekking trip. During your trekking in Sapa, you can navigate through mountain paths to witness one of the most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam and lush green natural landscapes. Over the time of year, these picturesque rice fields change from green to yellow. Along the way, you will pass rustic hill villages of distinct ethnic minorities, where you can get away from the city's hustle and bustle. In Sapa Hmong people, Dao people as well as other ethnic groups still wear their traditional clothes, even when they are working in the fields.

Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac) is located right next to National Highway 4D, the arterial roads to Lai Chau province, which is fairly convenient to visit. It takes about 30 minutes by motorbike or bus for tourists to visit one of the few most beautiful waterfalls in Sapa in particular and waterfalls in Vietnam in general. Almost all of the tourists participating in the Sapa tour do not miss the tourist site. Magnificent natural scenery on the trips, the pine forests, the chayote gardens spreading over the hillside, and the lush fields of roses year-round will make tourists forget the long haul in order to immerse in the impressive nature. Discovering Silver Waterfall is definitely one of the most unforgettable things to do in Sapa.

From the summit, there are stunning views of the valley on the other side of the pass and you can observe the road snaking around the mountains towards Binh Lu village and Lai Chau beyond. We spend enough time at the pass for guests to take photos and admire the views.

After going through the majestic waterfalls, you will conquer the top of O Quy Ho Pass, also known as O Quy Ho Heaven Gate or Sapa Heaven Gate. You will regret it when you come to Sapa but skip this place. At the top of the pass, you will see a panoramic view of the magnificent Hoang Lien Son range engulfed in a sea of white clouds and fog. Moreover, in each season, O Quy Ho Lai Chau Heaven Gate will give you different beautiful scenery, like golden or sparkling terraced fields in the pouring water season.

Take the car to Giang Cha village of Hmong ethnic people which is located on beautiful rice paddy fields, this village is home to great weavers of hemp and indigo who use traditional techniques to craft their tribal costumes. Crossing an amazing corn and rice terrace, visiting Hmong and local houses to explore their daily life, mystery culture (getting married by kidnapping… ), and possibly working with them on their farm. Lunch in a local restaurant with a beautiful view. Continue the trek to pass a plateau and have an amazing panorama of corn and rice paddy fields and a big valley, walk down to the bamboo forest to Ta Phin village of Red Dzao ethnic people. Visit a local homestay of the ethnic people and you have a traditional medical herbal bath in the local homestay, It is really good for your health after trekking ( optional, You pay for the herbal bath by yourself ).
