The Oriental Village is basically an open-air lifestyle mall with a wide range of souvenir stores selling handicrafts and knick knacks. Prices are reasonable but always try to bargain to get better rates. Almost all the clothing stores here have bathing suits for sale. Prices all over the island are pretty standard: check out the pretty batik print beachwear that can only be found at the Oriental Village. If you want some shopping tips, be sure to try the outdoor kiosks instead of the permanent stores – they have better discounts with owners more than happy to negotiate. Ever wanted to speed around on a Segway? Well here is your chance as there is a store that rents them out – it is the perfect way to explore Oriental Village without having to elbow your way through the crowd.
