The Dominican Republic is known for its beautiful beaches and outdoor adventures. Put your trust in the hands of your guide and embark on a full-day tour of outdoor excursions and cultural experiences. Horseback ride through the jungle, visit a market to sample local treats, learn how coffee and cacao are grown, zipline over a river and traverse rugged terrain in a dune buggy.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We do pick up from all hotels in Punta, Cana Cap Cana and Uvero Alto. We will contact you to inform of the exact pick-up time which depends on your hotel or accommodation. Customers located outside the Punta Cana area will pay an extra fee which will depend on the place and the number of people. We will contact customer advising of the extra cost at least 1 day before the excursion.
What to expect
We will pick you up at the hotel in an air-conditioned bus. Note that we usually go to other hotels to look for participants for this experience.
We first will ride horseback in the field, in this same ranch we will see how the cigars are twisted and you will be able to taste them, you will taste the real Dominican Mamajuana (a mixture of rum, wine, and honey aged in roots and barks of Dominican Afro- Dose plants)
Then we will visit the Basilica "Virgen de La Altagracia" and the local market. We will go to the mountains and we will stop at a small family farm where they grow coffee and cocoa, and see how they make their natural products from these plants, which is their livelihood.
In the end, we will go to have lunch at a place on the Anamuya river. Lunch will be a typical Dominican meal, very delicious! You can take a refreshing bath in the river too.
Then, we will do the ziplining, and later we will go on a buggy tour by the countryside for getting to the river. There will always be two guides or instructors who will assist you in everything.
