    Day 1

Our experienced guides will meet you and drive you by 4WD into Fiji's less-seen interior and your first village stay

    1 stop
  • 1

Head into the interior of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island, and up onto the Nadrau plateau and the tucked away Naga village. You'll get some great views along the way. Settle in to your new surroundings and take a short walk with a community guide before meeting your hosts and being formally welcomed. Enjoy a talanoa (chat) over a bowl of kava and a fresh, locally sourced dinner prepared by the village.

    14 hours Admission ticket free
  • Day 2

Take in the views, and cool off in gentle rivers, as you hike a historic trail to Nubutautau village

    1 stop
  • 2

Hike with your trained community guides along an old trail that links now abandoned villages along the upper Sigatoka river, through grassland and forest. The 12km hike takes approximately 7 hours with stops to rest, swim and have lunch. Your luggage will be transported in our vehicles and will be waiting for you when you arrive in Nubutautau. Once in the village, shower, relax or join a short guided walk to see some of the historic sites in the village. Learn more about the village's history over another bowl of kava before enjoying another locally prepared dinner.

    7 hours Admission ticket included
  • Day 3

Enjoy one of our favourite walks, a circular hike to a natural waterslide and through an old village site

    2 stops
  • 3

Enjoy a guided 4-hour (5km) circular hike stopping off to discover your inner child on a natural waterslide tucked away in the forest, and find out more about Fiji's past as you walk through an old village site. Enjoy a final swim in the river or cool off in the shade before a final climb back up to Nubutautau village.
