Our tour ends at the stairs of the Alabama State Capital, the place that the Selma to Montgomery March ended and Martin Luther King Jr. gave his speech "How Long, Not Long". You'll hear part of that speech and the story of MLK and the march from Selma.

    Where you are standing right now is the very spot where Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat because of the color of her skin. She was not the first, nor the last to be arrested. But her actions sparked the civil rights movement and brought national attention to Martin Luther King Jr. Here you will hear the story of what happened that day. Our tour starts here. We will only be outside. If you want to go inside you can pause the tour and buy a ticket. This is an outdoor walking tour.
