1Ruaha National Park
Arrival at Airport (DAR) - Ruaha National Park. Depart from Dar & head to Ruaha you will stop at the Kitonga Hotel for lunch. After lunch, continue to Ruaha National Park. In the journey, you will leave behind Dar, and the humid, low lying coastal belt. The highway crosses the hills of the coastal hinterland and the road then dips down onto scrub-covered plains. Tall termite hills are seen along the roadside together with local Maasai tribe selling beaded necklaces and belts. Along the way, you will pass the Sisal plantations in Morogoro and begin to get sights of the beautiful Uluguru Mountains that ascend above the plains and the town of Morogoro. The highway then passes through Mikumi National Park where you will get the opportunity to view animals along the road. After Mikumi, the road climbs the Kitonga hills which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains. Follow the Great Ruaha River and then climbs the Great Rift Escarpment, then past Iringa town turning left to Ruaha National Park.

4Mikumi National Park
After Breakfast, you will drive to Mikumi National Park with packed lunch. The road follows the Great Ruaha River and the Great Rift Escarpment past Iringa town, and then the road climbs the Kitonga hills which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains to Mikumi National Park.

5Mikumi National Park
After Breakfast, have a full day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Expect to see groups of elephants, Lion, and antelopes to mention but few.

6Dar es Salaam
After breakfast depart Mikumi National Park around 10:00 am with lunch on the way, while you drive back to Dar es Salaam. You will go directly to Dar es Salaam Airport and connect your onward evening flight. This will be the end of our tour for now.
