La Jolla Shores is a premium snorkeling spot. The area has an abundance of marine life, good visibility, and calm water, suitable for children and beginners. You’ll encounter colorful marine creatures, including different fish species like the garibaldi, shovelnose guitarfish, the harmless leopard shark. You’ll be fitted with a wetsuit, fins, mask, and snorkel, and your certified guide will teach you the basics on dry land before you dip into the water. All participants must be able to swim without the assistance of a personal floatation device.
