Ananuri fortress: a story in stone On the coast of Aragvi you will be met by the only fortress of Georgia that has reached us in its original form. Walking through the territory of the Ananuri defense complex, you will feel like a resident of the Middle Ages and learn about the glorious past of the Aragva eristavi (heads of the people). And we will definitely pay attention to the Assumption Church of the 17th century, whose facade is decorated with interesting bas-reliefs, and each element of the decor carries a hidden meaning.

3Russian Georgian Friendship Monument
Friendship Arch. on the edge of the mountain near Gudauri. This is the highest point of the pass and the perfect place to submit to the mountains forever!

4Gergeti Trinity Church
Gergeti Church and Fortress You surely saw such postcards: an ancient monastery standing on a hill on a background of snow-capped mountains. For these species in reality, you will go to the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek. And there you will transfer to jeeps to climb to the "monastery behind the clouds", sung in the poems of Pushkin. (The tour price includes jeep service to Gergeti Trinity Church and back.)
