Doune Castle entrance included in tour price. In Outlander, it’s the fictional Castle Leoch. And in reality, it’s a stunning castle with a tall gatehouse, an impressive great hall, and lovely views of the River Teith.
You stop at the small town of Falkland to relive the first scenes of the show, where Falkland represents 1940’s Inverness. See if you can recognise the familiar sights such as Mrs Baird’s Guesthouses and the Bruce Fountain.
