Early morning start. 1 hr 15 min drive to The Ninth Fort in Kaunas. It is a memorial site dedicated to the victims of Nazi occupation during World War II. It serves as a somber reminder of the atrocities committed against the Jewish population and others targeted by the Nazis.
Hop on the ferry that'll take us to the Curonian Spit. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site - a narrow peninsula separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. It's known for its stunning sand dunes, scenic beaches, and unique flora and fauna. We'll spend the rest of the day exploring it's beauty.

Overnight in Nida or Juodkrante (other villages of the Curonian Spit are fine as well). Another option would be to stay for the night in Klaipeda which is 1 hr away from Nida, back on the mainland.
In the morning, take a ferry ride back to the mainland (if you stayed on the Curonian Spit for the night) and continue to the Hill of Crosses with a lunch stop at Siauliai.
