A private tour of Paestum and the mozzarella farm is a unique experience, which allows you to discover the historical gastronomic heritage of Campania.
Paestum: is an ancient city of Magna Graecia, a tourist destination appreciated for its sandy beaches and crystal clear sea.
Famous mainly for its Greek Doric temples, among the best preserved in the world, and for its extraordinary archaeological area, a UNESCO heritage site.
The area is also renowned for the production of Buffalo mozzarella, one of the typical products of the region.
At your own discretion you can decide to visit a local farm that produces Buffalo mozzarella
(Please note that the visit to the farm and the tasting of the products are not included in the tour pice)
You will have the opportunity to see the entire process from milking the buffalo to making mozzarella.
During this visit you can also taste all their typical products such as ricotta, scamorza and other Buffalo milk cheeses.

    Temple of Neptune (5th century BC): The largest and best preserved, a perfect example of Doric architecture. Temple of Hera (Basilica) (6th century BC): The oldest, with massive and imposing columns. Temple of Athena (5th century BC): Situated on a hill, with Doric and Ionic elements.Roman Forum and Amphitheatre: Evidence of Roman Paestum, with remains of public buildings and paved streets. National Archaeological Museum of Paestum, near the park, preserves exceptional finds, including: -The Tomb of the Diver: The only example of Greek funerary painting with symbolic scenes. -Archaic Metopes: Sculpted decorations of the Sanctuary of Hera at the mouth of the Sele. -Vases, statues and artifacts: Everyday objects that tell the life of ancient Paestum. The Beaches of Paestum: After the visit, you can relax on the beautiful beaches of the area, with golden sand and crystal clear sea.

  • Day tour from Rome : We suggest to catch the Freccia Rossa Fast Train from Rome Termini (departure time from Rome 7.35 am) to Naples Centrale (arrival time 8.45 am) and we will pick you up directly from the Naples train station and then.. at the end of the day tour we will drive you back in Naples where you will catch the train back to Rome (suggested train departing from naples at 6.30pm)
