What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our tours start from Rifugio Ragabo, Linguaglossa - Etna Nord. The easiest way to get to us, is to drive to Linguaglossa. From here you take the street up to the Mount Etna (strada Mareneve). Follow this street for more less 20 minutes (13 km) and you find the Rifugio on your left hand. You can park here for free, there is enough space. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Looking to Rifugio Ragabo, our quads are on the left side.
What to expect

The quad tour starts through the Ragabo pine forest, towards the lava streams. Along old mountain trails where mules used to walk, you drive in the direction of the lava cave and lava tunnels. You will discover the cave and tunnels by foot.
You will also visit Etna’s oldest pine tree: “Zappinazzu”. And go to a viewpoint from where you can see the sea and when the weather is good you can see Taormina!
During the Etna excursion we ride to a maximum altitude of 1800 meters. Here you will be amazed by the power of the destruction of the Etna eruption of 2002, the last major eruption on the north side of the Etna volcano.
Our recommendations:
* Always bring a jacket, as it is cooler in the mountains.
* Wear (sun)glasses to protect your eyes from dust.
* Wear a scarf or neck gaiter to protect your mouth and nose from dust.
* Dress in layers appropriate for the season. (If you wear shorts, you will feel more heat from the engine.)
